The Management of the KSU Digital Centre has come up with a new policy for users. The implementation of this policy will take effect from the very day of students' resumption. With this new rule in place, only 100 level students will be admitted into the Digital Centre on Mondays, 200 level students on Tuesdays, 300 level on Wednesdays, 400 level students on Thursdays and finally, 500 level students will take their turn on Fridays.
However, staff of the university are usually allowed into the Digital Centre between 12 noon and 3 PM daily (Mondays to Fridays).
Students, on resumption, are to come to the Digital Centre and update their records on the portal. Records to be cross-checked and updated include the following:
1. Students' programme of study (e.g. Diploma in Mass Communication, B.Agri (Economics & Extension, B.Sc Economics, B.A English, B.Sc Home Sciences, etc.)
2. Students' names (first name, surname and middle names).
3. Students' date of birth (e.g. 21/06/1977)
4. Students' level of study (e.g. 100 level, 200 level, 500 level, etc.)
5. Students' state of origin (e.g. Kogi State, Abia State, Benue State, etc.)
6. Students' local government of origin (e.g. Ankpa Local Govt, Okene Local Govt, etc)
7. Students' department and faculty (e.g. Department of Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Natural Sciences, etc.)
8. Students' passport size photograph (check if it has been uploaded on your page).
Students are also advised to report any discrepancy (if any) in their semester courses. Changes are carried out at various departments thereby resulting in certain discrepancies in courses on the portal and courses on departmental notice boards. Such cases should be reported at the helpdesk immediately. Also, fee payment and course registration printouts should be made for both semesters as soon as possible. |
